Study effectively by finding strengths and weaknesses

Evaluate questions and apply the right heuristic skills for problem-solving

Eliminate careless mistakes by staying cautious and checking twice

Know various heuristic skills so as to solve word problems with ease and accuracy

Application of Concepts

Students will be taught how to identify question trends and question types through topical worksheets. Each topic will cover the necessary points to look out for, as well as the common trends and questions tested in examinations. Past Year Examination papers will also be provided as practice so that students can be exposed and get used to various types of questions and solutions. This helps to boost their confidence and refreshes their understanding of key concepts and phrases that are frequently tested.

Direct

Consistent revision of concepts is important in helping students retain information and to understand the subject better. We place emphasis on important concepts and questions to better prepare students for examinations. With our step-by-step guidance, we ensure that students are exposed to the right techniques and ways to tackle examination questions. By constantly sharing real world scenarios in our lessons, your child will be able to make connections and apply the concepts and skills taught.

Develop

Practice makes perfect. You may find that your child is not getting enough practice on his/her own which is crucial in their learning years. We believe that regular practice with exam questions will allow students to learn from their mistakes, and be better prepared to tackle their exams.

With our small class size, every child gets the attention they need to clarify doubts, and learn more efficiently.

Game It

We tailor our approach for each child by consistently identifying and working on areas for improvement. This is possible when we identify their strengths and weaknesses.

For Primary Math, we use Practicle, an AI-powered online learning programme that makes studying more fun for your child. Through Practicle, we’ll help your child brush up on their weaker areas, and challenge them in their stronger topics.

Testimonials

“I like the way she teaches the questions that we get wrong individually to each of us even if it is a group tuition. She explains to us until we understand how to answer the question fully. Every week, I look forward to being with my friends and also working on the worksheets prepared. I’ve gotten A* since I joined as compared to my previous A. The teaching has helped me to cope better in school and what I learnt is very useful. I will recommend Ms Andrea because her classes are fun and enjoyable.”

— Joel, Primary 6 student

“My grades in Math has slowly improved over a period of time. Teacher Andrea makes learning interesting and fun. Initially, I was always worried and scared to take the Math paper because I found Math to be a challenging subject. Teacher Andrea has taught me that Math is actually an interesting subject and I could learn more topics than before. Although there is room for improvement, I believe that I would be able to pass and do well one day! Thank you Teacher Andrea for teaching me and helping me to improve my Math in the past months!”

— Alison Tang, Primary 6 student

“Ms Andrea is very helpful. She helps me when I have some difficulties like sometimes when I do not know how to solve a difficult question. She’ll explain it very clearly to make me understand. She makes the class really fun. It’s my favourite part about going to class. I feel that I can solve more difficult problems and my results are improving after having classes with Ms Andrea. ”
