Many Chemistry students have shared with us that they do not understand the difference between the ‘types of chemical bonding’ and ‘types of chemical structures’. Past Year Examination Papers have shown that this is one of the most commonly tested topics and many students still find it challenging to approach despite much practice. Marks are often lost due to the wrong use of keywords or the lack of keywords, making it frustrating as students begin to feel like it is impossible to attain good grades in Chemistry.
That is, however, untrue.

Self-Care and Mental Health for Students
Mental health is an important and common issue that many adults and students struggle with. Many students choose not to disclose their mental health issues that they face at home or in school due to social stigma or the fear of being judged. As mentors and parents, it is important that that we lend them the support whenever they need it, especially so in their younger years before these symptoms lead to bigger issues in the future.

In fact, we use many of these acids in our day-to-day lives, such as vinegar or acetic acid in the kitchen, boric acid for laundry, and baking soda for the purposes of cooking.
